Resource Harvesting and Poverty Alleviation

The Landmark Foundation recognises that for conservation to be successful in South Africa, it must contribute to the socio-economic upiftment of communities in South Africa. Through various conservation initiatives the Foundation focuses on employment creation. Amongst these projects (which are in various stages of development) there are Langkloof Essential Oils, Honeybush Tea Harvesting, and DIY Insulation Board Projects.
